How to fix “This page can not be edited with WPBakery since it is missing a WordPress default content area.”?

The WPBakery Page Builder relies on the default WordPress content area.
If a theme or a third-party page builder is taking over the default WordPress content area, then in such cases, you will see the following message in the page builder interface:

This page can not be edited with WPBakery since it is missing a WordPress default content area.

In such a case, you can back up the site and then deactivate the plugins one by one while keeping the WPBakery Page Builder active to see if the issue still persists. This will help to identify the plugin/theme which is causing it.
Once found, you can then contact the respective developer of the theme/plugin so that they can guide you on preventing this issue.
